This wine is so Euro, it's sporting a "13,5%" label for alcohol percentage.
Purportedly, this is a mix of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, but the bottle gives no indication of varietal. It's got a real tight nose, from which I can discern only the smell of blackberry bush vines, but that may just be drifting in through my back window. Much like its DNA, the taste of this wine was hard to pin down. I called it Spanishy, while others though it tasted of nail polish remover. Forget them though, I liked it.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Eric. I'll do my best, but don't hesitate to tell your friends. It's great to hear what everyone else has to say about these wines too.
ReplyDeleteDecent but I've had better Temprenillo. Has a bit of that rusty nail taste to it.
