Next in our series, this sparkling white French number. It's got teeny tiny bubbles that become kind of frothy in your mouth. Tastes of melon and citrus, with just the right hint of sweetness.
Now to be selfish, I'm heading to TJ's to pick up some their Brie (which I've never tried) and wanted to get a bottle of wine to go with it. Any suggestions?
I'm so glad to see an active blog about TJ wine.

violetjimjams, if you're looking for a sparkling wine, this is actually a pretty solid pairing. For white, I'd try either the Lacheteau Vouvray or the King Shag Sauvignon Blanc. If you're looking for a red, I'd suggest the Château Auguste Bordeaux.
ReplyDeleteI was really pleased my order arrived so quickly and I love the dry red wine. I ordered the sparkling and I think its a really special wine.
ReplyDeleteGood to see your blog is still active. I'm hope we'll see some sparkling whites in the near future? Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI'm still here and kicking - and I've got some sparkling wines in the queue. Hang tight!
ReplyDeleteForget the white one, go for the red. Pours like grape juice, but flavor is complex, fruity, but not too sweet. Goes great with turkey dinner!
ReplyDeleteWe had this with Thai food the other night, yummy!
