Louise d' Estrée Brut - $8

Next in our series, this sparkling white French number. It's got teeny tiny bubbles that become kind of frothy in your mouth. Tastes of melon and citrus, with just the right hint of sweetness.

thumbs up - 86

  1. I'm so glad to see an active blog about TJ wine.

Now to be selfish, I'm heading to TJ's to pick up some their Brie (which I've never tried) and wanted to get a bottle of wine to go with it. Any suggestions?

  2. violetjimjams, if you're looking for a sparkling wine, this is actually a pretty solid pairing. For white, I'd try either the Lacheteau Vouvray or the King Shag Sauvignon Blanc. If you're looking for a red, I'd suggest the Château Auguste Bordeaux.

  3. I was really pleased my order arrived so quickly and I love the dry red wine. I ordered the sparkling and I think its a really special wine.

  6. Forget the white one, go for the red. Pours like grape juice, but flavor is complex, fruity, but not too sweet. Goes great with turkey dinner!
